We now have an official title and description for the live-action “Star Wars” TV series! Jon Favreau just took to Instagram to reveal that series will be titled “The Mandalorian.”

Making Star Wars was the first to report a rumor about the series being about the Mandalorians set after “Return of the Jeid,” and I’m glad to see that that report was mostly accurate, but it looks like the series will mainly focus on one Mandalorian character who will be a loner. But I’m still hoping the planet Mandalore and all of it’s history will still play a part in the show.
This was a nice surprise to get today, and can’t wait to learn more about the first ever live-action “Star Wars” series, “The Mandalorian”!
