Variety is reporting that actor Forest Whitaker is now in negotiations to join the cast of “Rogue One.”
Variety also said that Lucasfilm and Disney had no comment on the casting report, but said Forest Whitaker is in negotiations to star in “The Crow” remake in the fall before going into production on “Rogue One.”
It will still probably be awhile until we hear some official announcements about “Rogue One” from Lucasfilm because of the “Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation” embargo, but we will most likely continue to hear more casting announcements in the coming month’s from media outlets such as Variety.
