The Hollywood Reporter is saying that they’ve learned “The Force Awakens” will have it’s world premiere in Los Angeles on December 14th, with other ones taking place in London and around world following the L.A. premiere.
They also say that in an attempt to keep the film’s story and details still a secret, there will likely just be minimal screenings for press, cast and crew in advance of the premiere. They also don’t know just yet which cast members will be walking the red carpet for the event, but I think it’s safe to assume almost all of the principle actors will be there.
Disney and Lucasfilm have yet to confirm officially the premiere will be held on December 14th in Los Angeles, but it’s probably a safe bet that this date, or a similar one, will be when the premiere is held.
