Del Rey announced today via Twitter that two of it’s highly anticipated novels set to come out for next year are being slightly delayed. “Heir to the Jedi” will now be released on February 17th, 2015 instead of January, and “Lords of the Sith” will now hit stores on April 21st, 2015 instead of March. No real reason was given as to why the release dates for these two novels were pushed back other than the tweets saying, “Just our publisher shuffling dates.”

Thankfully the delay is only a month from the originally planned release for these two novels, but given how these were two of my most anticipated books from this new era of Star Was novels, it’s still a bit disappointing to know that we’re going to have to wait a bit longer to get our hands on them.
