A “Rogue One” limited comic series in coming later this year in October, as Marvel revealed the title today at the Diamond Comics Retailer Breakfast during C2E2.
There is not much info about the “Rogue One” comic series, but ComicBook.com has the scoop on what was revealed about it, saying it will be a three issue series, and a one-shot starting in October. ComicBook.com also confirmed that it will in fact be a prequel story to the “Rogue One” movie. They also got an image from the event, where Marvel revealed the title on their screen.
While this doesn’t come as a huge surprise to me, I am very excited that we will be getting a prequel story a few months before we see “Rogue One,” and hope that it will focus on some of the main new characters we will see in the movie.
