It looks like we have our new Han Solo! First reported by the New York Post’s Page Six, and later backed up by The Hollywood Reporter and other trades, actor Alden Ehrenreich has beat out over 2,500 other actors, and is in the final negotiations for the coveted role in the young Han Solo “A Star Wars Story” film, directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller.
Alden Ehrenreich most recently was in the movie “Hail, Caesar!” and was rumored to be one of the finalist for the role earlier this year.
While we’ll still have to wait for the official announcement from Lucasfilm and Disney, we can now start to try and get used to a new face that will go along with the name Han Solo!
