We were all waiting for info on when and where the next Star Wars Celebration will take place, and now we have our answer! It was announced today on The Star Wars Show that the next Celebration will take place in Chicago at the McCormick Place from April 11th-15th, 2019. All tickets, including VIP passes, will go on sale June 5th at noon CST over at StarWarsCelebration.com.
I’m very surprised by this, as I thought for sure Celebration 2019 would’ve taken place at either Anaheim or Florida by a Disney park with the opening of Galaxy’s Edge. But it’s at least good to finally have a definite answer on the next Celebration, and now fans can start planning to attend what’s sure to be a big event with the lead up to Episode IX, and it being Star Wars Celebration’s 20th anniversary!
