Some more “Star Wars” TV news has come out today, as the man who will be running the show for the upcoming Cassian Andor series has been revealed.
Deadline is reporting that Stephen Schiff has been made the showrunner and Executive Producer for the upcoming Cassian series on Disney+, who’s credits include being an Executive Producer on the Emmy nominated series “The Americans,” and has written such films as “True Crime,” and most recently “American Assassin.” Deadline also reports that the series has hired some writers as it gets ready to open up a writers room.
I’m not too familiar with “The Americans” or any of Stephen Schiff’s other projects he’s worked on, but it’s none the less good to know that Lucasfilm is hiring acclaimed talent to helm these live-action “Star Wars” series.
