It’s been a few days now since we got the big Episode VII casting announcement, but we haven’t heard too much from the actors who have landed new roles in the movie. But one of them who did talk about getting cast in Episode VII is actor Domhnall Gleeson, who recently spoke with radio host Ray Darcy on Dublin radio show 2FM. Here is what Domhnall Gleeson said on the radio show, in a report from Comic Book Movie:
“I’m still struggling to come to terms with it,” Gleeson admitted. “It all happened really quickly for me. It was like the day before and then I’m at a table reading with Carrie Fisher, Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill. It was madness but it was great.”
And when asked what character he would be playing-“I’m afraid if I say anything I’ll give away the plot of the whole movie. I’ve got two years of this ahead of me. The movie is released in December 2015 – that’s the amount of time I have to keep my mouth shut!”
It was interesting to find out that he was cast just a day before the table reading and announcement, and makes you believe that casting is still going on for some key roles.
