One aspect of “Solo: A Star Wars Story” I wish we got to see more of in the film was Han’s time at the Imperial Academy. But even though we didn’t spend too much time with Han during those days in the movie, we will still get to see some of his time in the Imperial Academy thanks to a new Marvel comic mini-series coming in November titled, “Star Wars: Han Solo – Imperial Cadet.”
Thanks to Marvel’s November solicitations, it was revealed that “Star Wars: Han Solo – Imperial Cadet” will be a five-part mini-series coming in November, written by Robbie Thompson, with art by Leonard Kirk. Here is the official description of the series, as well as a look at the artwork:
HAN SOLO escapes Corellia by joining the IMPERIAL NAVY, vowing to return for QI’RA. But how does a thief used to the chaos of the streets adjust to the order and discipline of the military? Not well! Han’s dream of becoming a pilot is quickly grounded as he realizes he may not even survive basic training!
Really looking forward to this new mini-series, and it will be the perfect story to read after we’ve watched “Solo: A Star Wars Story” a bunch of times on Blu-ray in the fall!
