The exciting “Star Wars” TV news keeps coming, as Variety is reporting that the lead role for “The Mandalorian” has now been cast!
Variety is saying that actor Pedro Pascal, best known for his role as Prince Oberyn, aka the Viper in season four of “Game of Thrones,” has been offered the role, and that negotiations are underway.
I really dig this casting, I’ve only seen Pedro Pascal in his one season appearance of “Game of Thrones,” but it was a great performance that easily shows me he can lead the first ever live-action “Star Wars” TV series, and I can’t wait to seeing his acting talents be brought into a galaxy far, far away.
