It was announced today that former Walt Disney Studios executive Tony To has now joined Lucasfilm as their new head of production and development. In a report from Variety, they say that Tony To will oversee all live-action and animation projects, as well as overseeing the work being done at ILM and Skywalker Sound. The report from Variety also revealed that Lucasfilm currently has several TV projects in development at various stages. Here are the statements from Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and Tony To about this announcement:

Definitely an exciting announcement for Lucasfilm, and it will be interesting in the future to find out what projects Lucasfilm has in store for us under the leadership of Tony To.
