Earlier today on The Star Wars Show, a new droid character who we’re going to meet in “Rogue One” was revealed. Meet the Imperial astromech droid C2-B5!
It was said on The Star Wars Show that the Empire subjects their droids to frequent memory wipes, so that they don’t become more independent. So we shouldn’t expect him to act like a certain blue astromech droid who’s on the Rebellion’s side.
So while C2-B5 probably wont be a very independent droid, and we don’t know just how much we’ll see of him in “Rogue One,”I definitely think it would be cool to see a more villainous astromech droid in a “Star Wars” film, and hope he has a decent amount of screen time. And I just love his black color scheme!
