In the midst of Midnight Madness last night for Force Friday, the release date for “The Force Awakens” soundtrack was announced!
In a bit of a surprising move, the soundtrack will be released on the same day the movie comes out on December 18th.

I have to say I was really hoping the soundtrack would release a little bit before the movie like all the prequel ones did, as getting to hear the music a little bit before hand always was a big part of the excitement and lead up to the actual film’s release. But with it coming out on the same day, fans don’t have to worry about another “Qui-Gon’s Noble End” scenario happening again!
